Our clients are reducing their environmental impact thanks to developments in our products.

BOBST is continuing to drive innovation to ensure the equipment and services it provides to its customers help them to minimise their carbon footprint. To this end, BOBST is optimising the life-cycle of its machines, continuing to provide training to its engineers and creating strategic partnerships to maximise the environmental performance of its services, focusing on the following areas:

  • Waste saving through quality control: Enabling customers to detect faults at an early stage to ensure energy wastage is minimised
  • Power consumption: Reducing customers’ carbon footprint by minimising machine power consumption
  • Consumables: Minimising requirement for consumables such as glue, water, inks, adhesives and solvents

To minimize its own carbon footprint, BOBST is ensuring all its sites are certified to globally recognised environmental standards. By the end of 2012 for example, all of its production sites around the world will be compliant to ISO 14001 certification for environmental management.

BOBST has also implemented a company-wide Code of Conduct for its employees and Charter of Bobst Group policy with regard to health, safety at work and environmental protection which establishes a common framework of ethical standards and values to support its day-to-day operations and embed environmental standards into the fabric of the company.
