BOBST and INSCO promote talent in the Folding Carton industry

The packaging industry is at a pivotal moment. Sustainability, automation, and efficiency are shaping its future, and companies need professionals who can combine technical expertise with management skills. With this goal in mind, BOBST and INSCO are launching a new round of scholarships for the Master's in Management for the Folding Carton Industry (MEP), a program designed to train sector leaders with a practical and up-to-date approach.

The Master in Management for the Folding Carton Industry (MEP)

Training designed for industrial reality
The master's program, developed by INSCO in collaboration with Aspack, offers comprehensive specialization in all processes involved in the production of folding cartons: from cartonboard manufacturing and printing (offset, flexography, and digital) to die-cutting, folding, gluing, maintenance, and quality control.

Over eleven months of online training, students progress through modules that combine recorded classes, live sessions with experts, and two in-person meetings: one to visit an industrial plant and another dedicated to presenting final projects. This hybrid format makes it easier to balance the master's with professional activity, without sacrificing direct contact with instructors and peers.

Instructors with real-world experience
The faculty is made up of active professionals from leading companies such as Smurfit Kappa, International Paper, and ITENE, who share not only technical knowledge but also their experience in team management, issue resolution, and continuous improvement. The classes are geared toward immediate practical application in the workplace.

Benefits for professionals and companies
The MEP not only provides a global view of the folding carton business but also enhances employability and accelerates participants’ career growth. Students gain tools to optimize processes, manage teams effectively, analyze plant profitability, and apply sustainability criteria in decision-making.

For companies, having staff trained in this master's program means having middle managers and executives capable of leading with technical insight, strategic focus, and environmental responsibility.

Boosting sector talent
Thanks to the scholarships granted by BOBST, more professionals will be able to access this benchmark training. It’s a strong commitment to talent development and competitiveness in an ever-evolving industry.
