BOBST, in collaboration with leading partners KURZ, MIRACLON, and ROSSINI, organized in early October in Abidjan a Roadshow dedicated to innovations and trends in the packaging industry.
The event brought together many Ivorian and West African professionals who came to exchange insights on the latest technological advances and sustainable solutions offered by BOBST and its partners.
The day opened with a presentation by Eric Pavone, Regional Sales Director AFRLAS at BOBST, who outlined the BOBST Group’s vision for the future of the packaging: a more connected, sustainable, and customer-centric industry, built on the pillars of Digitization, Automation, Connectivity, and Sustainability.
The program explored a wide range of strategic and technical topics related to innovative solutions for printing, finishing, and sustainable packaging. Participants had the opportunity to discover BOBST’s cutting-edge technologies in flexographic and gravure printing, as well as in label manufacturing.
The Roadshow also highlighted current trends in embellishment, sustainability, and modern flexography, emphasizing the latest advances in innovation and environmental protection.
Discussions further addressed coating and vacuum metallization solutions, meeting the growing demand for high-barrier and eco-friendly packaging.
The audience, highly engaged, contributed to making the event a moment of interactive and inspiring exchanges, reflecting both the dynamism of the Ivorian market and its increasing interest in next-generation packaging technologies.
“This Roadshow in Abidjan perfectly illustrates our commitment to supporting the development of the packaging industry in West Africa. Côte d’Ivoire is a key market—dynamic and forward-looking. At BOBST, we strongly believe that sustainability and innovation go hand in hand. Our solutions are designed to help our customers produce better, more efficiently, and more responsibly,” said Eric Pavone, BOBST.
Building on the success of this Ivorian edition, BOBST and its partners will continue their African tour in 2025, sharing their expertise and innovative solutions to further support the sustainable growth of the packaging industry across the continent.
