BOBST has a clear strategy based on three pillars: operations, equipment, and packaging use & end-of-life. These pillars reflect the company’s commitment to improve its performance in sustainability, measured by relevant business indicators.
For suppliers, BOBST adopted a four-step approach to address regulations, market demands, and customer requirements:
1 - Inform through the Supplier Code of Conduct (collected signed from suppliers as a commitment)
2 - Analyze using a Supplier Risk Analysis, led by the buyer responsible for the supplier
3 - Rate via an EcoVadis documentation evaluation
4 - Assess with an on-site evaluation of the supplier, if high risk is identified in the first three steps
