Customized configurations

• A dedicated R&D team works on the solution best adapted to the customer needs as well as to the space available in the factory
• Our palletizers range for FFG's consist of modules that offer great flexibility
• They adapt easily to all FFG delivery ends existing in the market for piles ranging from:
  • 600 x 600 mm (23 5/8" x 23 5/8") to 1'800 x 2'100 mm (70 7/8" x 82 1/16")
  • Maximum height of the pile (last drop of the last layer): 2300 mm (90 9/16")

Allows to square and to center automatically each bundle individually before transferring to the next unit.

Place a tie sheets on top of the layers before entering the elevator

• The tie sheets inserted between the layers ensure stability of the pile
• Suction cups with vacuum generators takes hold of tie sheets
• Possibility to ad a second hopper for special jobs
• Hopper on lifting table (option)

Stacks the layers onto a pallet or a bottom sheet placed on the conveyor

• Palletizer with variable piling height
• A system of fingers allows the layers to drop from a minimum height onto the pile
• After the layer has been dropped the pile is squared from all four sides to form a perfect 'ice-cube' pile
• Once the pile is complete, it is transfered to be prepared for shipment

Accurate transfer of the bundles according to layers configuration and expected palletisation pattern

• Positioning of the bundle by pivoting and lateral shifting
• Automatic layers configurations (programmed by operators)
• Various sizes available according to the machine width

Place a bottom sheet on the pallet or on the rollers or on the plastic chains, before the palletizer

• Protects the bottom of the pile against moisture, dirt and dust
• Suction cups with vacuum generators take hold of the bottom sheets
• Possibility to add a second hopper for specials jobs (ex. 2 way bottom sheets, insertion of planks)

Allows to program set-ups and parameters

• This ergonomic process control interface offers numerous palletization patterns and configurations
• The operator chooses the layer pattern from a list of files adapted to the machine configuration
• The link with the BOBST Machine supervisor (MPC2, MPC3, MPC3i) is supplied as standard when the palletizer is delivered as part of a full line

The connection is also available as a retrofit.

When the palletizer is not configured exactly in-line with the FFG

• The bundles circuit allows to store bundles coming out of the tying machine or to convey them to the three axis table, where the required layer is formed
• In its shortest version the circuit is composed of a two-speed straight conveyor
• It can be completed with a telescopic conveyor or a motorized curved conveyor

Forms, stacks, squares the layers

• Perfect geometry before transfer onto palletizer
• The squaring table with layer stacking fixture allows several layers to be stacked, increasing machine performance

Feeds the pallets into the palletizer

• The pile of pallets is conveyed to the pallet dispenser
• The pallet dispenser squares the pile of pallets and feeds them into the palletizer
• A dispenser for very large pallets is available
