BOBST has announced two significant leadership appointments for its UK, Ireland, and Scandinavia division, reinforcing its commitment to succession planning and sustained regional growth.
Craig Moran has been appointed Managing Director of Bobst UK & Ireland and Scandinavia, and also takes responsibility for sales of machines and service solutions in the Northern Europe region. He starts a six-month transition period with current Managing Director Neil Jones.
Moran brings 24 years of experience with BOBST, most recently serving as Business Director Northern Europe, and replaces Neil Jones in this role, who will remain with the business for a period of transition.
In a complementary appointment, Craig McGowan has been promoted to Zone Business Director for Bobst UK & Ireland and Scandinavia, with responsibility for the folding carton, corrugated, and flexible packaging sectors.
Both appointments are effective immediately and form part of BOBST's structured succession planning strategy, ensuring continuity of leadership whilst nurturing internal talent development across the organization. Further changes are to take place in service from July 2026.
Moran said: “I am deeply honored to take on this role at such a pivotal time for BOBST. Throughout my career I have seen our evolution first-hand and witnessed the entire company’s commitment to excellence across all product lines. I look forward to building on this foundation and leading our exceptional team to continue our success across the UK, Ireland and Scandinavian markets.
“I would also like to thank Neil for his leadership over the last 16 years. Neil has long been a stalwart presence not just for BOBST but in the wider print industry, and his knowledge and expertise have driven the company from strength to strength as it moved forward. It has been a pleasure working alongside him and I wish him all the best in his retirement.”
McGowan joined BOBST 10 years ago and has demonstrated a consistent commitment to growth throughout his tenure with the company. His professional development includes participation in the BOBST Young Leader Programme and completion of an International Institute for Management Development course in 2024. He most recently held the position of Sales Manager.
McGowan said: “I’m delighted to take on this new role and continue supporting our customers across the region. Across my time with BOBST I have always prioritised building strong, long-term partnerships and working with our customers to help them make confident investment decisions that drive productivity and growth. In this new role I look forward to working even more closely with our folding carton, corrugated, and flexible packaging customers to ensure their needs and aspirations are met.”
