Embossing gives structure to packaging
The stand alone embossing unit brings added value to the finished product with a dimension of its own. Complex packaging differentiations through brisk embossed shapes, sharp brand name emphasis, and flattering tactile effects among others are an asset to success.
The stand alone unit accepts one or two embossing stations, controled with BOBST Registron® Integrated, single and multiple embossings can be achieved in a single pass:
- Emboss and deboss
- Over-emboss
- Particular box designs such as rounded corner or beveled edges.
A job changeover can be done without cutting the web, combined with the fully automatic tool and register pre-setting at standstill, waste is minimized and full production speed is quickly reached.
The gap between the tools is fully controlled, making its setting also possible during production by means of calibrated steps. The operator is fully assisted for safe and effortless tool exchange and settings with step-by-step validation ergonomics.
