BOBST to showcase innovative technologies and services at Chinaplas 2024

BOBST will share its latest developments in rotogravure technology and flexible packaging, displaying a series of samples including its oneBARRIER range of mono-material and fiber-based high barrier solutions. Attendees will also be able to see flexible packaging samples made with CI flexo printing, water-based printing, and laminating techniques, getting a first-hand experience of BOBST’s strong technical and process capabilities. 

In addition, a selection of product displays will showcase innovative creations developed collaboratively by BOBST and its customers using world-leading products and services. Each carefully crafted sample reflects BOBST's commitment to quality and its deep understanding of customer needs.

This holistic approach combines plate mounting in prepress with smartGPS, flexo printing on the VISION CI press, quality inspection via a Digital Inspection Table (DIT), solventless lamination on the SX 550, and connected services via the BOBST Connect portal. The process can be further augmented by deploying BOBST oneECG (Extended Color Gamut) printing technology.

Chinaplas 2024 will also see BOBST demonstrate its commitment to delivering a “FAST & FLEXIBLE “service system in Greater China through a dedicated area at the exhibition. This will feature sought-after spare parts and service products, with attending customers offered exclusive promotions.
