Message from the CEO's desk

BOBST image

”I am shocked and saddened by terrible conflict in Ukraine. Everyone here at BOBST stands with the international community calling for peace and protection of all citizens”.

To mitigate business impact for our customers, we have created a dedicated taskforce to support our local employees and partners in the region. The BOBST business impact on turnover will be up to 40M Euro in 2022; our business is totally frozen at this time.

In coordination with our employees in Poland, the Czech Republic and neighboring countries, we are deploying a long-term commitment to support the relief efforts for refugees. Through BobstCare – our internal initiative to support local employees – we will coordinate efforts among all our colleagues, implementing actions that will help to promote peace, support impacted people and families, and the reconstruction of the impacted regions. These efforts will be supported by an initial investment of EUR 200,000 for the first phase.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the people displaced and affected by this terrible situation. With empathy and compassion, let’s continue to build bridges with each other to remain strong and support democracy and freedom.

Jean-Pascal Bobst, CEO Bobst Group SA
