Under this agreement, PPS will represent BOBST in Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina, making BOBST's advanced label and packaging solutions more accessible to converters throughout South-East Europe and reinforcing local service, support, and market access.
The partnership responds to growing challenges faced by converters in the region. These include rising costs, fast adoption of new (EU) standards, rapid technological growth and modernization as well as high customer expectations. Together, BOBST and PPS will support customers in improving productivity, consistency and competitiveness through state-of-the-art equipment based on automation and digitalization, workflow optimization, and personalized local service and support.
Customers will gain access to BOBST's comprehensive portfolio, including inline flexo mid-web solutions and advanced label applications such as aluminum printing for blister and yogurt lids, shrink sleeves, multilayer constructions and RFID labels. PPS will complement this with strong local service support. The company deploys highly trained and certified engineers, remote diagnostics, rapid on-site intervention, and 24/7/365 assistance to help minimize downtime and ensure maximum equipment performance.
In addition, converters will benefit from proximity to a BOBST Competence Center, within roughly a six-hour drive for many customers in the region. There, they can experience personalized live demonstrations of inline flexo, digital, and All-in-One technologies, conduct application testing, and gain hands-on insight into solutions – including the BOBST Connect platform – built on the pillars of automation, digitalization, connectivity, and sustainability.
